This Fameg walnut effect slated sidechair is produced from one of the original factories founded by the Thonet family. Michael Thonet set a new standard for bentwood production in the mid 1800s, using steam to bend the wood into shape, creating elegant curves and giving the chairs a long lifespan. The elegant dining chairs are made of strong beech wood, and have a warm walnut finish which reflects light easily in practically any setting. Swatches available on request.
